Research symposium on violence against women and children

The Department of Social Development as the lead and coordinating Department for the Inter-Ministerial Committee on Violence against Women and Children will be hosting the research symposium on behalf of
the Justice, Crime Prevention and Security Cluster. This research symposium seeks to create a platform for researchers, policy developers, and practitioners to share empirical evidence and experiences regarding
violence against women and children. The themes for the research symposium are as follows:

• THEME 1 : Trafficking in women and girls
• THEME 2: Domestic violence and intimate partner violence
• THEME 3: Sexual Harassment and workplace violence
• THEME 4: Violence against women in schools
• THEME 5: Cyber violence against women
