• Economic and Social Council adopts texts on Palestinian women, violence against girls from report of the Commission on Status of Women. ReliefWeb, 24 July 2007. ECOSOC this afternoon adopted a resolution from the report of the Commission on the Status of Women in which it called upon the international community to continue to provide urgently needed assistance and services in an effort to alleviate the dire humanitarian crisis being faced by Palestinian women and their families
