In response to COVID-19, the ISPCAN Adelaide Congress, (15-18 November 2020), has been postponed. This decision was reached at a special meeting convened by our Organising Committee, (comprising our South Australian partners and representatives within ISPCAN), where we reviewed the current local and global impact of COVID-19, as well as health advice about preventing its further spread in communities.
After careful consideration we have decided to reschedule the congress to 12th to 15th September 2021 and hold the congress at the Adelaide Convention Centre as planned. Key dates will be released shortly. Abstracts already submitted will still be considered for ISPCAN Adelaide Congress 2021. All authors will be contacted directly about their options. We see this as an opportunity to deliver a more comprehensive program with wider engagement, hopefully at a time when people are able to attend without needing to be so concerned about COVID-19. In the coming months we will continue to monitor the situation and public health advice to ensure the rescheduled ISPCAN Adelaide Congress occurs at an appropriate time. Our priority is, and always will be, the wellbeing of our attendees, international guests and our responsibilities to our communities.
