The SVRI successfully hosted its second international conference, the SVRI Forum 2011: Moving the agenda forward, 10 – 13 October 2011 in Cape Town, South Africa. The Forum is contributing to the positive growth of the sexual violence research field, as one of the participants writes: “I found the conference extremely informative, excellent sessions; good coverage and key emerging issues; high calibre of technical content; and very well organised”. The Forum brought together over 215 participants from 34 countries to share and network over a four-day period. Research findings and gaps identified at the SVRI Forum 2011 will feed into important international campaigns currently underway to prevent and respond to sexual violence globally.
Presentations are now available on the SVRI Forum 2011 web site
