Research is only useful if it leads to meaningful change. So when assessing what works to end violence against women and violence against children, how can we ensure research is actionable and reaches those with the power to use to improve prevention and response programmes? This is called research impact, and is a process that is too often neglected. Despite its undeniable importance, it's often poorly funded, difficult to measure with little guidance on how to achieve it. In this episode we find out how to address these issues, and discover why it needs to be made a top priority. We find out what makes research impact effective.
