Khwezi Magwaza is a digital creative from South Africa, currently based in New York City, with a deep passion for social impact. She has worked in editorial roles for BET News, Primedia Broadcasting, and TED’s Audacious Project. Khwezi has led digital content teams for several social impact organizations, including Praekelt Foundation (now Reach Digital Health), Comic Relief US, and Girl Effect. Before that, she spent many years as a producer for radio and TV, where she launched the popular entertainment show The Real Goboza, hosted by Trevor Noah, and served as Editor-in-Chief of Seventeen Magazine South Africa. She is a Ford Foundation International Fellow and holds a master’s degree from New York University, specializing in innovative digital journalism through the Studio 20 program.
