On 29 September 2025, we hosted the official launch of the final report from our multi-method research programme exploring gender-based violence (GBV) in higher education institutions (HEIs) across Africa and the Middle East.

The interactive webinar featured a moderated panel discussion, which offered:

• Insights into key findings from the research

• Reflections on the current landscape of GBV in HEIs

• Dialogue on evidence gaps and priority areas for future work

• Opportunities for advancing prevention and response strategies

The event brought together researchers, practitioners, and advocates committed to creating safer, more inclusive higher education spaces.
