Gendered disinformation uses false, misogynistic, and sexualized content to malign and discredit women, nonbinary individuals, and trans people of all genders in an attempt to limit their participation in public spaces. In this interactive virtual session, Meedan, along with partners Chambal Media, Digital Rights Foundation (DRF), and The Quint, will discuss key highlights from their collaborative study on gendered disinformation to deepen perspectives and design responses.
