Interventions that Prevent or Respond to Intimate Partner Violence Against Women and Violence Against Children
July 3 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Join UNICEF, LSHTM, and SVRI, to learn more about the implications of the recent publication ‘Interventions that prevent or respond to intimate partner violence against women and violence against children: a systematic review’. Globally, efforts seeking to prevent or respond to intimate partner violence (IPV) and violence against children (VAC) are still frequently separate, even despite growing evidence of intersections across these forms of violence. Authors conducted a systematic review to explore interventions that simultaneously prevented or responded to IPV and VAC by parents or caregivers, aiming to identify common intervention components and mechanisms that lead to a reduction in IPV and VAC. The webinar will feature the findings from this systematic review, discuss the implications of these results, and examine how, together, these insights can help move the field forward and lead to better outcomes for both children and women. The webinar will also explore how colleagues are using the findings from the review to guide their own work in different parts of the world. To join the webinar, register here.
