This session intends to launch a series of policy dialogues. This session would be high-level, focusing on the wider issues of violence against women and children from a policymaking perspective and the urgent need to respond. This launch event would outline the policy work within the Lancet Commission’s report, and the objectives of this series of policy dialogues, as well as the overarching themes and issues within the policymaking sphere when considering measures to end violence against women and children from a multisectoral perspective.
