Violence against women and violence against children are often addressed as separate issues affecting two populations, unique from each other. A growing body of evidence is emerging to demonstrate the critical intersections that exist between these two forms of violence, and to highlight the importance of understanding and addressing violence against women and violence against children in an interconnected manner.
