Claire Orchard has been obsessed with all things colourful and creative since a young age. She studied Design in Durban and received her BTech degree after a year of researching Women in Southern African traditional wear. This led to her creating a range of dolls and oracle cards – still one of her favourite pieces of work to date. Claire went on to work for an in-house agency for a well-known South African clothing brand for over 10 years, leading a team and collaborating on marketing content, events, branding and photoshoots. After Covid, she decided to branch out on her own, and so a new and exciting chapter of Moon and Honey Design began. Claire lives in Kwa-Zulu Natal with her husband and two golden cocker spaniels and will confess to being a stationery addict – one that can never have enough colourful pens and notebooks.
