Leila Billing is a gender and development consultant, co-founder of We Are Feminist Leaders and board member of the Gender and Development Network. She has worked on programmes to address violence against women and girls in a range of international NGOs, including ActionAid Zimbabwe and Girls Not Brides: The Global Partnership to End Child Marriage. She has a Master’s degree in Gender and Development Studies from the Institute of Development Studies. She is passionate about cultivating caring, equitable organisations where all staff are able to thrive. She loves to read, cook and hang out with her two daughters. She enjoys volunteering for her local Rape Crisis Centre. Her heart is in Malawi – where she was born.
