Lizle has over 16 years of experience in the development sector, focusing on violence against women and violence against children, and has been a member of the SVRI Forum organising committee since 2009. She has conducted research on violence against women and children in the health and justice sectors with the South African Medical Research Council, led practitioner research studies in South Sudan and Myanmar, and has contributed to grant-making efforts aimed at strengthening SRHR youth-led organisations in East and Southern Africa. Lizle’s passion for knowledge sharing and field building is reflected in her extensive experience supporting global research and capacity-building initiatives, with the SVRI Forum serving as the core of her work. As SVRI’s Partnership Manager, she builds and nurtures relationships and collaborations that enhance the Forum’s impact and strengthen the global response to violence against women and violence against children.
