Abstract
In support of its goal, the SVRI hosts a bi-annual, international conference: The SVRI Forum. SVRI Forums provide a platform for researchers, practitioners and others to learn from each other’s work, discuss methodological issues, experiences and research findings, to network, share lessons, and to link research with policy and practice and disseminate new and exciting findings in the field. The Forums also offer targeted capacity building opportunities through pre-conference workshops, whilst the SVRI Forum research awards provide researchers an opportunity to be recognised for their efforts, and promote excellence in the field. SVRI Forum 2013 was our third international conference.
