Abstract
The Sexual Violence Research Initiative (SVRI) Forum is one of the largest and most influential research conferences in the world, dedicated to addressing violence against women (VAW) and violence against children (VAC). Since its inception, the Forum has become a vital global platform for researchers, practitioners, policymakers, funders, and activists to connect, share knowledge, and collaborate in the pursuit of evidence-based solutions to end violence driven by gender inequality. The SVRI Forum 2024 was the largest and most impactful yet, bringing together 1502 delegates from 112 countries, with a remarkable 79% of represented countries (88) and 67% of delegates (1013) hailing from low and middle income countries. The programme was rich in content, featuring 222 oral presentations, 84 four-minute presentations, 189 posters, and 20 workshops. The exhibition hall showcased 39 exhibition stands.
