Abstract

This brochure offers an overview of the SVRI Forum 2026 (5-9 October, Bangkok) and why it matters at a moment when the political, social, and funding conditions for this work are becoming increasingly difficult. Over the years, the SVRI Forum has become the world’s largest abstract-driven convening dedicated to ending violence against women, violence against children, and other forms of violence driven by gender inequality. Since 2009, and held every two years, the Forum has brought together a total of 4,805 delegates, including researchers, practitioners, funders, advocates, survivors, and policymakers, to connect, share knowledge, and turn evidence-based solutions into action.
