On 20 May 2025, we introduced the new 2025 SVRI Research Grant recipients. These outstanding researchers and practitioners from around the world have been selected for their innovative and impactful projects focused on preventing and responding to violence against women and violence against children.
During the session, we went through an overview of the SVRI Research Grant and its impact over the years, and we discussed with our panel of past grantees what it means to receive and SVRI Research Grant and the impact of their projects to their field and to their local contexts.
The opening remarks were conducted by Lisa Mossberg, Coordinator for Sweden’s Global Strategy for Gender Equality and Women’s and Girls’ Rights at Sida.
The panel discussion, moderated by Ayesha Mago, Global Advocacy Director at SVRI, featured:

This event marked the official launch of the 2025 SVRI Grantee’s journey and celebrates the exciting work ahead.
