SVRI Faith & GBV CoP Networking Event
On 14 October 2025, from 16:00 to 17:00 SAST, the SVRI Faith & GBV CoP hosted a Networking Event. This virtual gathering provided a space for members to connect, share insights, and explore opportunities for collaboration. Presenters introduced their organisations and work, followed by an open discussion with all participants.
SVRI Forum 2026 Launch Webinar
On 2 October 2025, the SVRI hosted a virtual launch for the upcoming SVRI Forum 2026, to be held in Bangkok, Thailand (5–9 October 2026). The event, co-funded by the Australian Volunteers Program, introduced the Forum’s co-hosting partners and highlighted why the Forum remains a vital space for advancing efforts to end violence against women and children.
Gender-Based Violence in Higher Education Institutions: Evidence, Gaps, and Future Directions
On 29 September 2025, from 3–4pm SAST, we hosted a webinar to discuss the main findings of our multi-method research project on gender-based violence in Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) across Africa and the Middle East. Participants explored the current evidence, identified gaps, and reflected on future directions for prevention and response.

On 11 April 2025, the SVRI launched a self-paced online course focused on participatory approaches to childhood sexual violence research. During the launch webinar, attendees received an exclusive preview of the course modules and had the opportunity to pose their questions to the course development team, which included participatory research experts from the partner organisations.
