Clara Roig Medina is a seasoned journalist and communications specialist with a focus on human rights, social development, and gender issues, with extensive experience in international settings. She served for two years as the Digital Communications Officer at FIAN International, where she significantly enhanced the organization’s social media presence and visual identity. Since 2019, Clara has also collaborated with the International Indigenous Women’s Forum, thus being instrumental in documenting and promoting the success stories of indigenous women’s collectives globally. Prior to this, she spent over four years as the Communications Manager at RUIDO Photo, where she led documentary projects on migration and gender. Clara holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona, Spain, and a joint Master’s Degree in Global Studies from Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg and the University of Cape Town.
